DIVISION OVERVIEW

Division personnel provide environmental compliance support for the Station and its tenant activities by managing the following media specific programs: Air Quality, Installation Restoration, Under/Aboveground Storage Tank (UST/AST), Storm & Wastewater, and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC).  This is achieved through self-audits, training and guidance to Station personnel and adherence to regulatory requirements through continuous research and education.

POLICY

The most important starting point for an EMS* is the development of an environmental policy. ISO14001 requires local governments to implement their own environmental policy. The environmental policy acts as a basis for the environmental management system.
